Save the date for PENTECOST WEEKEND (June 2-4)!
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak as the Spirit enabled them…”Acts 2:1-4
The Board of Christian Education has been brainstorming fun ideas for children this summer and we are excited to announce our plans for Pentecost Weekend. June 2-4, our church will celebrate the movement of the Holy Spirit through a fun intergenerational weekend filled with singing, fellowship, crafts, scripture, conversation, worship and delicious food.

Friday, June 2 (6:30pm-9:00pm) We will begin our weekend around a fire, singing songs of our faith, and enjoying dinner together.
Saturday, June 3 (10am-2:00pm) A day of activities for all ages, including making Pentecost crafts that will be used in worship. Lunch will be served.
Pentecost Sunday, June 4 Our weekend will culminate with worship, afterward we will gather on the lawn for a picnic style cookout!
