On second Saturdays throughout the school year, Central youth (6th-12th grade) will meet with youth from other nearby UCC churches to fellowship for a few hours. Some activities from last year included laser tag, movies, pumpkin carving, capture the flag, hiking and bowling. We also participate in service projects such as making sandwiches for the Open Door Community, packing hygiene kits for South Georgia Farmworkers Health Project, or working in a community garden through the Atlatna Community Food Bank. Last month, we took a trip to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. These activities are a time to get to know one another better and deepen our relationships. Want to know what our plans are each month? Contact Rev. Lacey, for more information and to get monthly updates via email.
